Valarie Hill FCTA Rochester has been home to Flower City Tax since it's birth in 1983. Company founder, Valarie A. Hill, began Flower City Tax & Accounting as an alternative to the large accounting and tax firms that are more interested in their pocketbooks than the customers, and the typical national franchises where you are just a number. Devoted to customer satisfaction and "home-style" financial services, Flower City Tax knows who YOU are and what YOU need in a tax professional.

With 34 years and over 27,300 tax returns under her belt, Valarie had seen the tax laws change hundreds of times. Constant continuing education is the only way to stay on the cutting-edge.

Sadly, after a brief battle with cancer, Valarie passed away on November 8, 2018. Valarie was determined that every customer is satisfied, every question is answered, and every deduction is taken. She had also earned the prestigious title of Enrolled Agent, the highest credential awarded by the IRS and is valid in all 50 states.
